i»i LOCAL BODIES PROTEST (Per Press Association.) CIIRISTCHURiOH, this day. The Conference of the Municipal Association viewed with alarm the number of advertising hoardings throughout the countfy. The matter, was introduced for discussion by the Mount Eden PiOi-ough Council. At its suggestion, it was decided to urge all local bodies to frame by-laws restricting the erection of hoardings. Delegates also agreed to ask the Counties' Association to co-operate in the matter.
