The New Plymouth Harbor Board's dredge Paritutu'recently created a record for sand-pumping, reported the foreman, Mr. J. Ilawes. ' The dredge pumped a full load. AGO tons, in 15 minnf.es, the fastest time in her existence. The progress of dredging at. the port was favorablv commented on by the chairman, Mr". ('. E. Bellringer. Already more sand had been shifted from the sandbank than in the whole dredging period last year.
