DANGER OF CRISIS
POLITICS IN BRITAIN CONSERVATIVE UNREST GOVERNMENT IN DANGER (Slec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (■Received Feb. 4, 2 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. :?. As a result of the recent turn of events, the National " Government's stock is the lowest since it took power, says the Sun .correspondent. 'Mr. Rarnsav MacDonald is very worried,, and does .not want to reconstruct, the; Cabinet until the. Indian Bill has •.been legislated, but there are great efforts to force his hand. Mr Neville Chamberlain •would not tolerate Mr Lloyd, George's inclusion in the Cabinet at 1 any price, and.his inclusion ■would split the Conservatives 'beyond repair. Meanwhile, the Conservative revolt; in connection . with Mr Randolph, Churchill's intrusion in the by-election; is more serious than had been anticipated, while the crisis over unemployment insurance has embittered the; working classes. Some Ministers admit that if an election is imminent,, the Government would lose every seati in the industrial norlh. The possibility of Cabinet chauges : and the inclusion of Mr Lloyd George, are canvassed by the Observer, which expresses the opinion that the general election cannot be postponed after the autumn owingto the fact that 200 sup-| porters of the. Government feel an increasing danger of losing their seats, under the present conditions, while a> mass of Ministerial members of the House of Commons are demanding changes in the Government's composition and a policy affording a 'better chance of electoral success. There, is a growing feeling that re-, construction should be done now, pre-. ferably with Mr Lloyd George.
