TE KARAKA V. TITIRA.NGI A RRTUIIN MATCH COUNTRY TEAM WINS AGAIN J n a i-oturn match between representatives of Te Karaka and Titirangi tennis clubs, played on the Titirangi courts during the week-end, the country players succeeded in defeating their opponents by 19 games to five. The first contest between these two clubs, played some time ago, also resulted iu a win for the Te Karaka, club. The Titirangi club was unable to held its usual A team, two players having to be substituted in both the men's and ladies' sections. Some keenly contested games were witnessed. An outstanding match was seen in the Men's Singles, when two old rivals, .11. Sydney, Te Karaka, and P. Kaua, Titirangi, met. After a hard-fought matcn Sydney succeeded in defeating Kaua, 7—5, 6—B, 7—5.
Delightful morning and afternoon tea was served by members of the Titirangi club.
