BEEF FOR NEW GUINEA
SYDNEY, Jan. 6. The New Guinea Administration has accepted tenders for 1030 cases of tinned beef, of which 500 cases at '4s a dozen tins, c.i.f.e., Rabaul, will be obtained from Hellaby and Company, New Zealand, and the remaining supplies from Libby’s, Chicago. Last year, of 6000 cases ordered by the Administration, Australian packers supplied 5000 cases.
