WESTPORT,, last night.
. When attempting to land at Carter’s Beach, .threo miles, from Westport, this afternoon., a Redwing plane piloted by •Mi\ T. Parry, Hokitika, had its undercarriage badly smashed, the wings also being (damaged. The pilot noticed something wrong with the undercarriage jwlien taking off anil .tried to (make a landing,, hut the machine buckled up. Neither pilot-nor-passenger, was injured.
