POSTPONED MEETING

IDEAL WEATHER PREVAILS

The Ormond Sports 'Club's meeting, which was postponed from Wednesday, was opened to-dsiy in ideal weather. The rain during the week left the track in good order. There was a satisfactory attendance, which, however, 'was smaller than was expected last Wednesday if the weather had been line. The athletic events did not commence until 1.4:"i p.m., time, having to be given for the .competitors to assemble, a process delayed by the'fact that most of them had been at. work during the morning! The management of the meeting was in the capable hands of a strong committee. Results (if the various events were as under:—
