INITIAL SUCCESS
LONGBURN CHILLED BEEF ARRIVAL IN LONDON (Per Tress Association.) PALMERSTON N., this day. Advice has been received that the first experimental 200 quarters of chilled beef from the Longburn works arrived in London on December 17, and are considered there to be a complete success, the condition being good and the quality satisfactory. Arrangements are being made for another shipment of 500 quarters at the end of the present month.
