GOLD MINING RESUMED
After two months' dry weather, heavy rain has fallen in tho Groymouth district and gold mining operations, which had been held up during the dry spell, were resumed on Wednesday. Good rains have fallen along the West Coast. All extensive thunderstorm interfered with telephonic communication.
