At the annual meeting, which will be held in London on January 5, the directors will recommend payment of a dividend of 3 per cent, (against 5 per cent, in the previous year). The dividend, which is payable less income fax at 4s Gd in the £1 absorbs £21,000, and £37,344 is carried forward, against £42,251 brought into the accounts. The sun: of £50,000 has been transferred from reserves to exchange provision account.
