Related wedding presents from abroad for the Duke and Duchess of Kent continue to arrive.
The latest is a set of etchings, printed on silk, from the Governor of Salzburg. The package is inscribed in German, stating that the pictures arc presented “as a memento of the place where you became engaged.” The Governor, wanting in English, describes the engagement as an event which, for a long! time, will echo in the hearts of the people of Salzburg. Nearly 60.C00 people visited the exhibition of presents, the admission fees going to charity.
