WELLINGTON, this day.

In announcing to-day tho appointment of Mr G. B. Hutchinson and Mr L. B. C. Macfarlane for a further period to March 31 as members of the Bvbadcasting Board, the Hon. A. Hamilton said that the proposal would lie made in the short session of Parliament for altering tho Broadcasting A fi t, and it would bo for the House to decide whether the suggestions should be embodied iri, a Statute. It was not proposed to make public the proposed amendments until they first wore disclosed to members of the House.
