E.S. AND A. BANK NET PROFIT HIGHER LONDON, Nov. 17. The English, Scottish and Australian Bank net profit was £221,565 for the year ended Juno 30. After payment of dividends. £15,000 has been placed to reserve, £SOOO to the -provident fund, and ££O,CCO to contingencies reserve, while £275,747 is carried forward. The net profit for the year ended June 30, 193,3, was £219,327, and the amount carried forward £274,181. The dividend rate at 5 per cent, remains unchanged and absorbed £150,000.
