BATHERS IN DIFFICULTIES
RESCUES AT SUMNER (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this d.-C- Jr After being in peril for almost \alf an hour, Mr J. 'Baldwin, of Op sura, a young man, was rescued from the sea at Sumner yesterday afternoon. Another bather, who went to his assistance, also got into difficulties, .and two teams of Sumner life-saving clubs had hard struggles bringing the men ashore. Both were exhausted and had to be resuscitated.
