TWO MEN ARRESTED
GAMING HOUSES ALLEGED (Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, last night. At the Police Court this afternoon before Mr Bundle, S.M., James Pearson was charged with keeping a common gaming house at Opoho. In asking for a remand; Chief Detective Young said that accused had 'been ar"osted at his house, and he desired the remand ip .order place .all the farts before flic' court. A remand was granted until Monday, bail being allowed in accused’s own surety of (-.TO. V.; ■ • William Prince was charged at a later sitting of the court with keeping a.common gaming house. Accused pleaded not guilty. Chief Detective Young said that accused had just been arrested and he asked for a remand for a week. A remand was granted until November 16, bail being allowed i>. accused’s own recognisance of £SO.
