NOTED DOCTORS
VISITS TO DOMINION DUNEDIN EXAMINATIONS LONDON, Oct. 5. The preliminary examinations for the Royal College of Surgeons will be. conducted in Dunedin for the first time this year. Mr. G. Qordon-Taylor, 0.8. E., M.S., F.R.C.S., surgeon of Middlesex Hospital, and Professor G. A. Buckrnaster, M.D., F.R.C.S., of Bristol LTniversitv, have been appointed to proceed to Australia and New Zealand to conduct the examinations. There are 56 Students at Melbourne and 26 to be examined in Dunedin. The written examinations will bo conducted simultaneously in Melbourne and in Dunedin, but the oral work will be heard first at Melbourne and then at Dunedin, the examiners arriving in the Dominion on December 14.
Sir Holburt Waring, C.8.E., M.S., F.R.C.S., president of the Royal College of Surgeons, is proceeding to Melbourne to open the new building of the Royal College of Surgeons of Australasia. He will pay a visit of one week to New Zealand, during which time he will inspect the Rotorua baths and tho Spa at Te Aretha, and also visit the Waitomo Caves.
