Then came Polydora and Nightform. Steeton continued to hold a big lead, and at seven furlongs was several lengths ahead of Some Shamble, Great Star, and The Smuggler. These were followed by Red Manfred, Gold Trail, and Polydora. Ilazoor made a forward move, at this sage, and, turning] for home, Gold Trad ran in second place. Steeton was never headed and beat.
