EQUALLY EASY TO PILL
TORONTO, Aug. 22.
Dr. Sybil Smith of the experimental station, * United States Department of Agriculture, Washington, D.C., told the American Vegetable Growers’ Association she believed the time will come when ea&ing will tie as easy as filling a gasoline, tank with fuel. “The menus of to-morrow,” said Dr. Smith, ‘‘will be built around milk, eggs, fruits and vegetables. Bigger and better plants, richer in food values, will bo produced. “There will be he better methods of oreserving fresh vegetables, probably by high-pitched.sound l’ather than by beat.” Dr. Smith predicted that would be grown so expertly that they would have their nutritive values marked on their containers just as medical values of pills are marked on their boxes.
