SIR G. HENSCHEL DEAD

BINDER AND PIANIST (Received September 11, noon.) LONDON. Rept. 10. The death has occurred of .Sir George Henscliel. Sir George Ilenschel was of Polish descent, and was 84 years of age. lie studied music in Germany, and made his first appearance as a pianist of 12 years, and as a singer four years later. He settled in England in 1878. His iirst wife was Lillian June Baylv, with whom lie* gave recitals in America and Europe until 188 L In 1907 he married an American lady.
