MOTORIST INJURED

FOUND SEMI-CONSCIOUS CAR RUNS OVER SOFT. BANK (Tor Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. Discovered in tv semi-conscous condition on Mnngaroa Hill, about 7 o’clock tins evening, after bavin- apparently crawled up a 50ft. bank over which his car had crashed, Mr. Douglas Young, a commercial traveller employed by the Public Mutual Insurance Company, Auckland, was taken to hospital suffering from severe injuries to bis bade and concussion The discovery of the accident was made by Mr. W. Wilton, driver of a transport lorry. While be was driving up the bill, lie noticed a man lying on the side of the road with one arm upraised and, on find inn him to be seriously injured, bo sent for help. Indications were that Mr. Young had misjudged the road while coming down the hill and had crashed over the bank. Although seriously injured, lie had then crawled up the bank to the road.
