Thousands of Defaulters Under Poultry Registration Act

TT is believed that there are thousands id' defaulters under the Poultry Registration Act, 1933. The Act is being administered by 'the New Zealand Poultry Board', which intends taking measures to ensure the collection of the fees due to it. and a. statement issued by the board on the matter includes the following:— Briefly, the Poult ry-nms Kogislra lion Act. 1933, provides for the registration of existing ‘‘poultry-runs” on June 1 in each year dating from dune .1, 193-1, defaulters after dune 30 being liable on conviction to a tine not exceeding £l, nnd to a further line not exceeding 3s (id for every week that elapses after the prescribed period and until registration is effect ml.
