MONETARY REFORMS

REPORT BY COMMITTEE DIVISION OF OPINION (Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. The report of the Monetary Committoe of Parliamentarians, which lias been for several weeks in the Government’s hands, is to be tabled in the House this week. Characteristic of the wide differences of opinion oh this question, and the relation of currency and credit to the economic depression, it is not expected to be unanimous. Lobby opinion anticipates that the committee will be substantially divided on its recommendations into two groups, while the Hon. W. Downie Stewart, who resigned from the Coalition Cabinet on a monetary policy question, will represent his own views in another minority report.
