TAXI-DRIVER’S OFFENCE
(Per Press Association.) ■WELLINGTON, this day. Cancellation of his driver’s license for six months and a line of £5 were the penalties inflicted by Mr. ,T. G. C. Hewitt, KM., yesterday in the Lower ITutt Court on W. Osborne, a taxidriver, who was charged with dangerous driving. “This case is just about as bad as you can have it,” commented the magistrate. “The driver was either drunk or utterly incapable as a driver. 5 ’
