Mr William Got tie, the oil mining millionaire, was found .alive by the mountainside community of La Crcsetnla, after being kidnapped for £15,000 ransom. In a running gun bailie one kidnapper was arrested and the other escaped. A message from,, Tuscan, Arizona, states that Miss Jean Robles, a school girl, who was kidnapped for £3OOO ransom, was found alive and well tonight and was taken home. It is not stated whether the ransom was paid. The girl was found chained in a cage underground under filthy conditions, nine miles from her home. She was weak and emaciated, but mentally sound.
