The Maoris of Fox ton and district a ,. e at present busily engaged in a scheme for the renovation of an old and well-known Maori meeting house at Iliinatangi, and a chinch at Mnrotiri. and the placing into operation of a scheme for the development of their lands. Efforts are being conducted to raise funds for this purpose.
