LITTLE RUSSIAN GIRL NEW HOME AT FOXTON (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Galina Bogatiroff, the 11 -year-old Russian girl who was reunited .with her parents in New Zealand in January, lias settled down at Foxton, and is doing well in standard three at school. There is another Russian girl, Nine Picholoff, who has been at the school since 1930, and although she had no knowledge of English when she came to New Zealand she now acts as interpreter for Galina in her lessons. Galina’s father says his daughter is getting accustomed to her new home and new people, and already has picked . up many, simple words, although she still finds it hard to combine them in sentepccs. ,
