WOMEN’S NATIONALITY
EMPIRE ACTION WANTED LONDON, Feb. 28. A deputation to Mr. McLaren, Financial Adviser to the Australian Commonwealth in London, headed by Mrs. Guy limes, on behalf of the British Commonwealth League, urged measures to secure the passage by the Dominion Governments, including New Zealand, of legislation enabling, women to decide whether upon marriage they retain their oycn nationality or adopt that of their husband.
Mr. McLaren promised to transmit the representations to the Governments concerned.
