SPANISH CHRISTMAS LOTTERY
MADRID, Dec. 22. The drawing of the Christmas lottery, the largest of the 38 State lotteries held in Spain during a normal year, took place to-day. The first prize of 15,000,000 pesetas (£375,000 at the present exchange) went to Bilbao. hut part of the ticket was sold in Aleira, in the province of Valencia, and part in Sitjcs, in Catalonia. The second and third prizes of 6,000,000 and 3,000,000 pesetas respectively are also divided, so that a considerable number of persons will benefit.
