The new Commonwealth and Dominion Line ship will have 465,000 ft. of refrigerated space, including gas-tight compartments for chilled beef. It will be fitted with new type of Doxford fabricated Diesel engines, giving an estimated speed of 16 knots. Its measurement will be 492 ft, by 65ft.
