£330,000 SCHEME The executive of the North Auckland Electric Rower Board, at a meeting over which Mr. .1. A. .McLean presided, decided to ask the Loans Board to reconsider the question of authorising the £330,000 loan proposals of the board. The hoard’s .territory comprises Ota inn - tea, Wliangarei, and llobsou counties and Dargaville Borough, the whole of the territory stretching from Kaiwaka to llikurangi, bounded by the east and west coasts. 11. is proposed to take power supplies from Arapuni. The route ol the main power line lias been surveyed. The hoard’s territory is about the largest area in the Dominion not reticulated with electricity. 'The' board-lias been in existence fur 10 years, but lias been hampered by circumstances beyond its control.
