POLLED HEREFORDS
BULL FOB SOUTH ISLAND (Pop Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Tho lust Polled Hereford bull to be imported to the South Island arrived bV the Waikavva to-day from Canada. It was imported by tho Loan, and Mercantile Agency, Company, to the order of Mr. A. S. Holms, of Waimaliaka, Southlaud. Mr. Holms hopes that ho will have an over-increasing number of muiey calves and increase the value of his herd without decreasing the quality. There are three other Polled Hereford bulls in New Zealand, all at Gisborne.
