INTOXICATED MOTORIST
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Leslie George Oliver, 42. boot salesman. of t’alnierston North, was fined £4O to-day and had his driving license cancelled for 12 months on a charge of driving a ear while in a state of intoxication. Accused was fined £2O and had his license endorsed only in August last, hut Mr. Stillwell. S.M., took intuit consideration the fact that lie- was married and had two children and did not send accused to gaol.
