SCULLING CHAMPIONSHIP
PEARCE'S ATTITUDE WILL RACE ANYONE (Elec. Tel, Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Received Nov. 25, 2 p.m.) HAMILTON, Ont., Nov. 24. The Sculling Board of Control lias claimed that Pearce had not posted the £4CO deposit in respect of the world’s sculling championship, and that the conditions were not approved and a referee hud not been named by the board. Immediately on receipt of a letter to that effect, Pearce announced that he was ready to meet any sculler named by the board on the Thames at any distance.
