At the conclusion of the programme, Father Bennett, Tokomaru Bay, publically thanked Mrs. Barry and her troupe of performers, who had combined to make such a success of the entertainment, at the cost of a long journey. The programme included a line variety of songs, dances, sketches and recitations, each of which received a decided encore. Mrs. Barry herself was heard to advantage in two selected numbers, and her sweet voice and charming personality won all hearts. Three exquisite bouquets of the choicest flowers were handed to her from admiring friends. The songs of Mr. F. Neill and Mr. J. Parker were very popular. The dance items were exceedingly interesting and received prolonged applause; the tap-dancing bv the Misses Pnltridgo was a very finished exhibition. The second portion of the programme was performed by a band of gipsies, who were delightful with their songs and character dances in gay costumes. Miss W.
