FAMOUS AMERICAN CASE NEW VENUE REFUSED (Received Nov. 22, 3 p.in.) NEW YORK, Nov. 21. An Alabama message states that Judge Callahan to-day overruled a defence motion for a change of venue to Birmingham for the seven negro defendants who are charged with assaulting two white girls. Mr Leibowitz, the defence attorney, had petitioned Air Roosevelt to provide troops to protect the boys. This, the President declined to do. The court, however, assigned a guard for the attorneys, who allegedly have received mimv threats.
