SAMOAN MANDATE
REPORT TO LEAGUE EXCELLENT POSITION (Elec. Tel. Copyright—United Press Assn.) (Received Nov. 2, noon) GENEVA, Nov. 1. The Mandates Commission of the League of Nations, examined Sir Thomas Wilford on the Samoan mandate, the repprt showing an excellent financial position. The president thanked Sir Thomas Wilford, who was making his last appearance at the commission before retiring from the High Commissionership, for the assistance lie had always given.
