ALLEGED THEFT OF RING
(Per Pross Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. Arrested last night by a detective while, allegedly attempting to sell a ring belonging to the detective himself, William "Palmer Foley was charged in the Police Court to-day with breaking and entering Percy Lawrence Dawson’s shop and stealing a diamond ring, lie was remanded for a week. The police stated that the ring had been left by a detective for repair. Jewellery totalling £35 in value was stolen
