A resident of Redding. Mr. AY. Green, had a narrow escape from serious injury when attacked and tossed bv a bull. In company with Mr. ,1. Bartholomew, lie was driving the hull through Mr. Bar tholomew’s property when suddenly the animal turned and charged him, tossing him several yards away. Mr. Bartholomew pluekilv came to the rescue with a piece of piping which hanpened to he handy, the animal being driven off. Beyond severe shock, Air Green suffered only slight injuries.
