LONDON WOOL PRICES ~ (Received September 27, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 26. At the wool sales, 12,292 bales wero offered, including 1795 from. New Zealand, and about 7511 bales were sold. There was strong Yorkshire and Continental competition, and prices were fully maintained. Sales included: Merinos, - greasy, Queensland, 18d ; South Australia, 2Sd; scoured, Queensland, 27jd; New Zealand slipe, halfbred lambs, CMC, Eclipse, Challenge, top 16.)d, average 14|d. SYDNEY MARKET FIRM SYDNEY, Sept. 26. At the wool sales 12,544 bales were offered, of winch 11,026 were sold; and 1149 bales were disposed of privately. The market, was on a par with yesterday for all descriptions, while the trend of'prices for freer merino wools and crossbreds was in sellers’ favor. Greasy merino made 23d for 13 bales from Crookweli.
