Lin.ldater (Goal., Manawatu). He i.s asking the Minister of Justice whether, in view of tho increase throughout New Zealand in the theft of motor ears, the fact, that scores' of ears have: been burned or badly damaged! by motor thieves, and the fear that, no motor vehicle is safe in the streets of any city or town, lie will have the property of motorists properly protected by drastically increasing the punishment prescribed for the offence.
