MAKARAKA SCHOOL

PUPILS’ ANNUAL BALL RECORD ATTENDANCE There was a record attendance of pupils of the Alakaraka School arid their parents at the annual school ball, held in the Alakaraka-Alatawliero Hall last Friday evening, and the function proved an outstanding success in every respect. Dance music provided by Air. Wrefonl Wade’s orchestra, was greatly enjoyed by evervone, and extras were played by til,- headmaster, Air. A. W. Bird. Elaborate arrangements lor the function were carried out without a hitch, arid at fin interval during the evening the chairman of the school committee, Air. T.
