Petono Roman Catholics are taking a practical way of erecting a monument to the late Father McManeinin by providing what will be known as the Chaplain McManeinin Memorial Church, a dignified reinforced concrete structure. A tender has been accepted for the erection of the church, which is to cost approximately £IO.OOO.
