NELSON’S LOG BOOK
The personal Jog book kept by Lord Nelson on the Victory .from May 15 to October 20, 1805, the day before the Battle of Trafalgar, has been gifted to the nation by Lord 'Wakefield. It will he housed in the British Museum. The small volume, which resembles a .schoolboy’s exercise book, was formerly owned by the direct descendants of Nelson's youngest sister Catherine, to whom, along with the sword of honor presented to him by the City of London alter the Battle of the Nile, ho left, it. All I,lm entries in the log hook are in Nelson's own writing, and the last, on the fatin'day evening before Trafalgar ends abruptly half-way down Ihc page.
