OPOTIKI WATER SUPPLY
In the course of a lengthy report on the Opotiki Fire Brigade, following a recent inspection, Air. R. GiriingButcher, inspector of fire brigades, gives details of the results of tests made on the water supply. The static pressure is stated to be 140!b. to 1461 b. to the square inch. “These tests,” Air. Butcher states, “show that even in the outlying areas of the town an excellent tire-fighting supply is available, while in the business area the supply is remarkably good."
