OBITUARY

MR W. T. DOIG (Far Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The death occurred yesterday of Mr W. T. Doig, of Lower Hutt, chief clerk ol the .signal and electrical branch of the Now Zealand railways. He was well known 'in sporting circles, particularly cricket, in Christchurch and Wellington. At one time he was a ,New Zealand and South Island hockey representative. He was also prominent in Masonic and musical circles. He was aged 49 years. He leaves a wife, rifle son, and two daughters.
