VALUELESS CHEQUE ISSUE (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Sentence of six months’ imprisonment was imposed on Frederick Charles Danby, 35, a cook, who pleaded guilty to obtaining £6 11s by false pretences from a furniture company by means of a valueless cheque.
