BAND CONTESTS

RESULTS AT HAMILTON

(Per Pres* Association.) HAMILTON, this day. The first annual contest of the South Auckland Band Union was held on Saturday and was a great success, 12 bands and 300 bandsmen competing. Rotorua won the B Grade Shield and the Boosey Shield with the highest aggregate, Hamilton being second. Whakatane won the C Grade Shield, with Cambridge second.
