Although Good Friday is observed as a Sunday so far as the. despatch of mails is concerned, the arrival by train I at Napier last evening of 50 hags of English mail for Gisborne resulted in :f> J special despatch being made., the mail; truck leaving Napier at 2 a.m. for Gis- i borne and arriving here at 11.30 a.m.!'
