BUTTER GOES LOWER Prices of both New Zealand butter and cheese on the London market have fallen a further 2s per cwt. during the fiast few days, and a new low level las been reached for butter.
Joseph Nathan arid Company report to-day as follows:—“Butter, 665. Cheese, white 38s, colored 465. Both /markets are quiet. ’
WELLINGTON WOOL AVERAGES Average prices per lb. and 'per hale of wool sold at the Wellington sales during the 1032-33 ami 1931-32 seasons are shown in the table given below. Generally speaking prices this season have been much on a par with those of the previous selling period, although oil no occasion this year did the average go an high as in 1931-32, On the other hand, this year's averages were not as low for any one sale as was the case last season. The following table compiled by Dalgety and Company shows the position :
