THURSDAY’S PROGRAMME

EARLIER START TO BE MADE

A somewhat longer programme than usual has been prepared for the Gisborne Amateur Athletic and Harrier Club’s weekly meeting, which will take place at the' Childers road reserve on Thursday evening. Up to the -present the club’s meetings have commenced at 6.15 p.m., but as the evenings are drawing in Thursday’s gathering, and all. subsequent evening meetings, will commence at 5.30 p.m. The programme is as follows: 100yds. Men’s Handicap; 75vds. Ladies’ Handicap ; Three-mile Junior Cycle Race, final distance for the Innes Cup; Miss-and-Out Cycle Race; Ladies’ Relay Race; Men’s Relay Race; Half-mile Flat Handicap; and Men’s Broad Jump Handicap.
